Pittsburgh Penguins forward Egor Chinakhov was a surprise omission from the lineup for Thursday's 4-0 victory against the Florida Panthers due to a lower-body injury. The team officially listed Chinakhov as day-to-day ahead of puck drop, forcing coach Dan Muse to shuffle his forward lines and insert Elmer Soderblom, Hendrix Lapierre, and Rutger McGroarty into action. Chinakhov will continue to be evaluated prior to Saturday's contest versus Nashville.
