Kyle West Reflects on Record-Setting Campaign and AFL Stint

Yankees prospect Kyle West enjoyed a historic 2026 campaign with High-A Hudson Valley, becoming the first player in franchise history to reach 20 homers and 20 stolen bases. Despite battling a 29.8% strikeout rate and a .226 batting average, the left-handed slugger is refining his swing mechanics in the Arizona Fall League with the Salt River Rafters. West aims to leverage his raw power and high exit velocities into greater consistency heading into the 2027 season.
