Ivan Fedotov Referenced in Cooper Black Historic NHL Debut

Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Ivan Fedotov was referenced in historical context during Florida Panthers rookie Cooper Black's NHL debut. Fedotov previously held the record for tallest goaltender in NHL history at 6-foot-7 alongside Ben Bishop, Mads Sogaard, and Mikko Koskinen, a mark that was officially broken when the 6-foot-9 Black appeared in his first career regular-season game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
