Mads Sogaard Referenced in Cooper Black Historic NHL Debut

Ottawa Senators goaltender Mads Sogaard was mentioned in historical context as Florida Panthers rookie Cooper Black made his NHL debut at 6-foot-9. Sogaard previously shared the record for tallest goaltender in NHL history at 6-foot-7, alongside Ben Bishop, Ivan Fedotov, and Mikko Koskinen, before Black surpassed the mark by standing two inches taller during his historic first career start against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
