Atlanta Falcons Waive Rookie Defensive Back Malcolm DeWalt IV

The Atlanta Falcons announced the release of defensive back Malcolm DeWalt IV on Thursday. DeWalt originally signed as an undrafted free agent out of Akron and earned a spot on the initial 53-player roster following a strong training camp and preseason showing. However, he has been a healthy scratch for every game this season and could potentially re-sign with the team's practice squad if he clears waivers.
