Jacob Misiorowski to Start World Series Game 1 for Brewers

Milwaukee Brewers ace Jacob Misiorowski will start Game 1 of the 2026 World Series against Tampa Bay's Nick Martinez at American Family Field. The 24-year-old right-hander led MLB with 252 strikeouts during the regular season and makes his third postseason start after throwing 4 and 4.1/3 innings against the Padres and Dodgers. Backed by 11 days of rest, Misiorowski looks to build on a historic postseason run featuring a 104.8 mph pitch, the fastest tracked in playoff history.
