Matt Olson Wins Sixth Fielding Bible Award at First Base

Atlanta Braves first baseman Matt Olson won his sixth Fielding Bible Award, surpassing Albert Pujols for the most at the position and ranking second all-time. Olson, a National League Gold Glove finalist, led both leagues in the award while pacing first basemen with 12 outs above average and topping Fangraphs’ defensive WAR adjustments. He owns three Gold Gloves and remains the overwhelming favorite to secure a fourth after a stellar defensive season saving poor throws and making plays away from the bag.
