Chiefs Place Left Tackle Josh Simmons on Injured Reserve

The Kansas City Chiefs are placing left tackle Josh Simmons on injured reserve due to a bulging herniated disc in his lumbar spine, keeping him out until at least Week 11. Vice president of sports medicine Rick Burkholder noted Simmons plateaued in rehab. Simmons, the 2025 No. 32 overall pick, has been sidelined all season. Kahlil Benson will continue filling in at left tackle for Patrick Mahomes as the Chiefs prepare to face the Seattle Seahawks.
