Cooper Black Set to Make History in NHL Debut vs. Penguins

Florida Panthers netminder Cooper Black is slated to make his NHL debut Thursday on the road against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Standing at 6-foot-8, Black will officially become the tallest goaltender in NHL history when he takes the ice. Recalled from AHL Charlotte due to Jacob Markstrom's upper-body injury, Black went 2-1-0 with a 2.67 GAA and a .919 save percentage in three games for the Checkers this season.
