Semyon Varlamov to Start Against Kings in First Home Game Since Injury
Semyon Varlamov will guard the home crease for the New York Islanders in Thursday's clash against the Kings. This marks his first home start since missing the entire 2025-26 season with a knee injury. Varlamov holds an 0-1-1 record with a 1.94 GAA and .905 save percentage across two appearances this season. He is expected to play once every 7-10 days as a backup to Ilya Sorokin.
