Adrian Morejon Set for Potential Qualifying Offer from Padres

The San Diego Padres are leaning toward extending a $23.15 million qualifying offer to impending free-agent reliever Adrian Morejon following his dominant second half. As the winter's top left-handed reliever, Morejon averaged over 70 appearances across the last three seasons, posting a 2.83 ERA over 86 innings with 107 strikeouts in 2025. While accepting would mean a massive salary increase, Morejon has expressed a deep-seated loyalty to San Diego, leaving a pivotal decision ahead for the lefty.
