Mikel Brown Shows Flashes of Potential in Nets Debut Loss to Hornets

Brooklyn Nets rookie Mikel Brown logged six points, three rebounds, and three assists over 20 minutes off the bench in a season-opening 110-103 loss to Charlotte. Playing on a minutes restriction following a preseason ankle injury, Brown shot 2-of-8 from the field but displayed impressive downhill speed and strong vision, including an impressive behind-the-back assist. Teammate Julius Randle commended the guard's natural playmaking ability.
