Darius Acuff Jr. Struggles in Professional Debut for Kings

Darius Acuff Jr., the No. 7 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, struggled heavily in his professional debut as the Sacramento Kings suffered a 121-96 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Acuff shot just 5 of 24 from the field, including 0 of 7 from 3-point range, finishing with 12 points, three rebounds, three assists, and four turnovers in 35 minutes of action while showing he wasn't shy about taking shots in his first ever game.
