Charles Bassey Ruled Out For Warriors Season Opener With Knee Tendinitis

Golden State Warriors center Charles Bassey has been ruled out for the team's season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers due to right patellar tendinopathy. Bassey was listed as questionable on the injury report and could not make enough progress to play. With Kristaps Porzingis also sidelined, Bassey's absence leaves Golden State extremely thin in the frontcourt, opening the door for rookie Graham Ike or small-ball five Yaxel Lendeborg to crack the rotation.
