Brandin Podziemski Sits Out Season Opener With Lower Back Soreness

Golden State Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski has been ruled out for the team's season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers due to lower back soreness. Podziemski played in all 82 games during the previous season but will miss the opening contest as the Warriors grapple with a heavily depleted roster and multiple injuries across the lineup. His absence leaves Golden State even thinner in the backcourt as they kick off their new campaign on the road in Los Angeles.
