Collin Sexton's Versatile Skillset Proves Vital for Los Angeles Lakers

Collin Sexton’s absence and expected role highlighted his surprising necessity for the Los Angeles Lakers during a challenging preseason. Acquired over the summer to provide downhill pressure and spell Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves, Sexton’s aggressive driving, playmaking, and 44.6% catch-and-shoot three-point shooting make him a crucial component of the second unit. Listed as questionable for the season opener, the Lakers rely heavily on his veteran presence amidst uninspiring roster alternatives.
