Brandon Woodruff Eyes World Series Return After Shoulder Progress

Injured Milwaukee Brewers ace Brandon Woodruff is pushing for a spot on the World Series roster after months of battling right shoulder inflammation. Sidelined since July 4 and initially facing surgery, Woodruff progressed to throwing 23 pitches to top hitters like Jackson Chourio and Christian Yelich, reaching 90-92 mph with his fastball. While decision-makers weigh the risk of his limited preparation, Woodruff has put himself in a position to be an option as the World Series approaches.
