Juuso Valimaki Makes Victorious Return In Carolina Hurricanes Debut
Juuso Valimaki made his Carolina Hurricanes debut, playing his first NHL game in nearly two years following an ACL tear, a trade, and a long recovery. Suiting up on the third pair, Valimaki notched an assist, a shot on goal, a hit, and two blocks in under five minutes of ice time. Playing in front of family and friends, his strong showing earned praise from coach Rod Brind'Amour after hard work in the AHL with the Chicago Wolves.
