Kyle Schwarber Reflects on 2026 Season and Second-Half Slump

Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber finished the 2026 regular season batting .232/.354/.503 with 45 home runs and 97 RBIs across 156 games. After a stellar first-half performance that included a Home Run Derby runner-up finish and a walk-off blast, Schwarber struggled in the second half following a mysterious back ailment in late June. He racked up 220 strikeouts while the Phillies managed his ongoing health concerns heading into year two of his five-year contract.
