Sam Franklin Jr. Suspended One Game for Spitting Incident

NFL defensive back Sam Franklin Jr. has been suspended one game without pay for spitting at a Raiders player during the fourth quarter of a Week 6 win. Franklin denies the incident and plans to appeal. If upheld, he will miss Buffalo's Week 8 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens following their Week 7 bye, becoming eligible to return for a Monday night game against the Minnesota Vikings on November 9.
