Jordan Love's Interception Blamed on Route Error by Receiver
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love's recent interception against the Dallas Cowboys was largely the result of a miscommunication, according to head coach Matt LaFleur. On a "Lookie" option route, Love expected receiver Matthew Golden to break inside on a slant after pre-snap motion created a favorable matchup against a linebacker. Golden instead ran an out route, causing Love's pass to arrive late and allowing the defender to undercut the throw.
