T.J. McConnell Ruled Out for Pacers Opener with Hamstring Strain

Indiana Pacers guard T.J. McConnell has been ruled out for Wednesday's season opener against the New Orleans Pelicans after suffering a right hamstring strain. McConnell's absence leaves the Pacers short-handed in backup point guard depth to start the regular season. The veteran guard will remain sidelined until evaluated further by Indiana's medical staff throughout the team's upcoming road trip.
