Coby White Ruled Out for Hornets' Opener with Calf Injury

Coby White will miss the Charlotte Hornets' season-opening matchup against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday due to an ongoing calf injury. White remains sidelined as he continues his recovery and rehabilitation process, depriving Charlotte of a crucial guard in its backcourt rotation to start the 2026-27 NBA season. The team will monitor his progress throughout the week before offering updates on his playing status.
