Jaylen Brown Era Ends as Celtics Open Season Against Pistons

The Boston Celtics officially open the post-Jaylen Brown era against the Detroit Pistons after trading Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason in exchange for Paul George and multiple draft picks. Coming off a career year, Brown begins his tenure in Philadelphia while Boston welcomes back Jayson Tatum from the Achilles injury that cost him last season. Meanwhile, Detroit enters the opener following Jalen Duren's five-year, $200 million contract extension.
