Freddy Peralta Earns ALCS MVP Honors as Rays Reach World Series

Tampa Bay Rays right-hander Freddy Peralta was named ALCS MVP after starting and winning Game 6 against the Cleveland Guardians to secure a World Series berth. After struggling with the New York Mets (4.99 ERA in 22 starts), Peralta was traded at the deadline to Tampa Bay, where he posted a 55.1-inning rebound before his postseason dominance. He will now face his former team, the Milwaukee Brewers, in the World Series.
