Anthony Eyanson Emerges As Orioles' New Top Pitching Prospect

Acquired by the Baltimore Orioles in an August 3 trade sending Adley Rutschman to the Red Sox, Anthony Eyanson quickly established himself as a dominant pitching prospect. Across High-A and Double-A in 2026, the right-hander posted a 1.54 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, and 141 strikeouts over 99.1 innings. Backed by a powerful four-pitch repertoire featuring a plus-plus slider and a 95 mph fastball touching triple digits, Eyanson is viewed as having ace-level upside heading toward the 2028 season.
