Jason Adam Receives B- Grade After Injury-Shortened Season

Jason Adam posted a 2.62 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and 34 1/3 innings in 2026 for the San Diego Padres, earning a B- grade in a roster review. The right-handed reliever missed nearly three months down the stretch with a right shoulder strain, impacting his usual sub-2.00 ERA dominance. Although he surrendered five home runs in limited action, Adam has been a consistently elite setup man over two-plus seasons in San Diego and is set to enter free agency as one of baseball's top relievers.
