Milwaukee Bucks Waive Guard Kevin Porter Jr. Ahead of Opener

The Milwaukee Bucks officially waived guard Kevin Porter Jr. on Monday. The roster move comes on the heels of a 2025-26 campaign where Porter led the team in assists per game while also finishing second in overall scoring. Despite his strong playmaking and offensive production last year, the Bucks decided to part ways with him just before tipping off their regular-season schedule, thrusting the veteran guard into the free-agent market unexpectedly.
