Bronny James Retains Lakers Roster Spot Entering New Season

Despite significant roster shuffles and his father moving to the Philadelphia 76ers, Bronny James retained his roster spot with the Los Angeles Lakers. While teammate and former first-round pick Dalton Knecht was waived to trim the squad down to 15 players, James secured his place as the last remaining survivor of the Lakers' 2024 draft class heading into the regular season. His retention highlights the team's ongoing developmental focus as they finalize their rotation.
