Grant Nelson Makes Strong Case for Brooklyn Nets Frontcourt Role

Brooklyn Nets two-way big man Grant Nelson is pushing for an expanded frontcourt role after fully recovering from patellar tendinitis that sidelined him during the summer. The 7-foot Alabama product posted 6.8 points and 2.3 rebounds over four preseason games, including a 9-point, 4-rebound outing in nine minutes against Washington. Nelson's athleticism and improved shooting offer needed rim-protection and depth.
