Dylan Larkin 'Playing Catch-Up' After Injury, Coach Explains Form
Detroit Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin, after missing training camp, preseason, and the first two games due to an offseason injury, has played six games. He scored a goal and an assist in his Oct. 6 debut and added another assist on Oct. 15, but has gone five games without a goal and committed uncharacteristic turnovers. Head coach Todd McLellan states Larkin is "playing catch-up" due to missing crucial pre-camp preparation, not still feeling the injury. The team hopes for increased offensive contribution as they begin a four-game road swing.
