Alec Pierce Not Ready To Practice While Rebounding From Heel Injury

Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen announced that wide receiver Alec Pierce (heel) will not have his 21-day practice window opened in Week 7. Pierce has spent the requisite four games on injured reserve after re-injuring his surgically repaired left heel in Week 2 against the Chiefs. Due to the recurring nature of the injury and the team's financial investment, the Colts are taking a deliberate rehab approach.
