Dalton Knecht Eyed In Trade Talks As Lakers Trim Roster

The Los Angeles Lakers are actively seeking a workable trade to ship out Dalton Knecht and acquire front-court help like Milwaukee's Jericho Sims to trim their roster from 16 to 15 players. Knecht saw his playing time dwindle and struggled to carve out a consistent rotation role after being selected 17th overall in 2024. If no trade materializes, the Lakers must waive Knecht or another player ahead of the regular season roster cut-down deadline.
