Cooper Rush Released By Falcons In Quarterback Room Shakeup

Quarterback Cooper Rush has been released by the Atlanta Falcons as the team makes a significant transaction to overhaul their backup quarterback position. The roster spot opened by Rush's departure will be immediately occupied by veteran signal-caller Andy Dalton. Rush had spent time navigating Atlanta's heavily fluid quarterback rotation earlier in the season before the franchise opted for veteran stability.
