Nate George Sidelined With Medical Condition After Strong Start

High-A Frederick Keys outfielder Nate George saw his promising 2026 season cut short after 20 games due to a non-baseball-related medical condition. Before being placed on the injured list in May, the Orioles' 2024 16th-round draft pick and 2025 Minor League Prospect of the Year batted .293/.372/.366 with 15 stolen bases. Ranked #7 on the Orioles prospect list by MLB Pipeline, he aims to return to action ahead of the 2027 spring training camp.
