Bryan Baker Locks Down Save in Game 5 to Extend Conversion Streak to 35
Bryan Baker issued a walk but allowed no hits in a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save in Tampa Bay's 3-2 ALCS Game 5 win over Cleveland. After walking leadoff hitter Chase DeLauter, Baker needed just six pitches to retire the next three batters. The right-hander has now converted 35 consecutive save opportunities and has fired six scoreless postseason innings with only three baserunners allowed across six appearances for the Rays.
