Jesper Wallstedt Stops 13 Shots to Lead Wild Past Blue Jackets

Jesper Wallstedt turned aside 13 of 14 shots to help the Minnesota Wild earn a 2-1 victory against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Wallstedt set the tone early by denying Connor Garland on a breakaway just two minutes into the first period. His strong play in net helped the Central Division-leading Wild improve to 6-2-1 on the season. Wallstedt and Minnesota will return to the ice on Thursday night when they travel to face Calgary.
