Bruce Brown Waived by Knicks to Meet Roster Limits

The New York Knicks waived veteran wing Bruce Brown on Saturday to reduce their active roster to 14 players and remain under the second apron. Head coach Mike Brown praised Brown's defensive toughness and offensive versatility, noting he can guard multiple positions and initiate the offense. However, New York opted to retain big man James Wiseman instead to secure necessary frontcourt depth behind Karl-Anthony Towns and Andre Drummond.
