Brandon Woodruff On Track to Pitch for Brewers in World Series

Following a rapid shoulder recovery without surgery, Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff is on track to potentially join the World Series roster. Woodruff, who last pitched on July 4, progressed through a five-week throwing program without setbacks and recently completed a high-intensity 31-pitch bullpen session in Los Angeles. With available pitching spots, the Brewers could activate the veteran ace for their first World Series appearance in 44 years when rosters drop Friday.
