Patrick Forbes Dominates in Arizona Fall League With New Sweeper

Arizona Diamondbacks prospect Patrick Forbes is showcasing a new 81-83 mph sweeper in the Arizona Fall League, averaging 14 inches of horizontal movement. After missing time in 2026 due to right flexor and elbow inflammation issues, the former two-way player struck out four over 2 2/3 scoreless innings for Salt River, sitting in the mid-90s with his fastball and refining his between-outing routines to build durability.
