Dylan Garand Set to Start Saturday vs. Blue Jackets Following Expanded Role

Dylan Garand will defend the road net against Columbus on Saturday as he steps into an expanded starting role following a season-ending injury to starter Igor Shesterkin. To support Garand, the Rangers recalled veteran Spencer Martin as a backup. Garand was pulled in Thursday's 7-1 loss to New Jersey after allowing four goals on 13 shots, but he holds a 3-2-0 record and has stopped 86 of 94 shots overall this season.
