Paul George In Line for Boston Celtics Debut Tuesday Against Pistons

Paul George rested during Friday's preseason win over Philadelphia but is in line to play in Tuesday's opener against Detroit. The 36-year-old forward appeared in 37 regular-season games for Philadelphia in 2025-26, averaging 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.7 steals over 30.7 minutes per contest. Now paired alongside Jayson Tatum in Boston, George retains All-Star upside as he aims to remain healthy for the upcoming season.
