Dakota Joshua Assigned to Marlies on LTIR Conditioning Loan
The Toronto Maple Leafs have assigned forward Dakota Joshua to the AHL's Toronto Marlies on an LTIR conditioning loan as he recovers from an abdominal/core muscle injury. Joshua, who started the season on LTIR on Sept. 30, can remain on the conditioning stint for up to six days or three games. The move allows Toronto to evaluate his readiness for bottom-six play following an injury-plagued 2025-27 stint. The earliest he can be activated to rejoin the Leafs is Oct. 22 against the New York Rangers.
