Quentin Grimes Shifted to Bench as Lakers Test New Starting Lineup

Los Angeles Lakers guard Quentin Grimes scored 11 points off the bench in Friday's 121-106 preseason loss to Denver after starting the team's previous four games. Head coach JJ Redick opted for Matisse Thybulle in the finale to seek lineup balance and evaluate Grimes as a primary ball-handler off the bench with Collin Sexton injured. Grimes averaged 12.3 points and 2.5 assists on 53.3% shooting in the preseason, with Redick confirming he will still start many games this season.
