Elmer Soderblom Returns to Penguins Lineup in Loss to Avalanche

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Elmer Soderblom returned to the active lineup for Friday's road matchup against the Colorado Avalanche. Soderblom was re-inserted into the mix as Pittsburgh shuffled its forward unit following a lower-body injury to Egor Chinakhov during practice. Although the Penguins jumped out to an early two-goal lead, Soderblom and Pittsburgh ultimately fell 5-2 after Colorado rallied with five unanswered goals. Soderblom logged routine bottom-six minutes.
