Kawhi Leonard Rests for Preseason Finale Following Sharp Performance

Toronto Raptors forward Kawhi Leonard will sit out Friday's preseason finale against the Detroit Pistons for rest. Leonard looked sharp in his lone preseason action, exploding for 21 points in just 17 minutes of play. With his health intact and his game rhythm established, Leonard's status for Toronto's regular-season opener is locked in. The matchup features Detroit's Cade Cunningham hosting Toronto as the Raptors garner upper-echelon Eastern Conference hype.
