VJ Edgecombe Rested for Preseason Finale Prior to Regular Season

Philadelphia 76ers guard VJ Edgecombe will sit out Friday's preseason finale against the Boston Celtics for rest. The second-year swingman's night off is strictly precautionary as the team manages workload before the games count. Edgecombe remains fully healthy and is expected to be available for Philadelphia's regular-season opener against the New York Knicks on Tuesday.
