Ryan Nugent-Hopkins to Miss Next Two Games with Lower-Body Injury

Edmonton Oilers center Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is expected to miss the team's next two games due to a lower-body injury, targeting a potential return next Thursday against Carolina. Nugent-Hopkins has yet to play this season after recording 20 goals and 56 points across 72 games in 2025-26. Once healthy, he is projected to serve as Edmonton's third-line center or shift to wing within the top six.
