Zac Veen Recalls PCL MVP Success But Struggles Down Stretch for Rockies
Colorado Rockies outfielder Zac Veen finished his tumultuous 2026 season with a -0.3 rWAR after experiencing major highs and lows. Following a stellar Triple-A stint where he won PCL MVP and Baseball America’s Triple-A Player of the Year, Veen was called up on August 11 and homered in his first games back. However, he struggled down the stretch in the majors, slashing .232/.312/.435 with a high 39.2% strikeout rate and defensive struggles across 36 games.
