Mikel Brown To Remain On Minutes Restriction For Opener

Brooklyn Nets rookie guard Mikel Brown will remain on a strict minutes restriction for the regular-season opener against Charlotte. Coach Jordi Fernandez stated he is not comfortable starting a player until cleared to exceed 24 minutes. Brown recently made his preseason debut against Miami after missing three games with an ankle injury, recording 15 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 18 minutes, and will begin the season in a reserve role.
